The aim of our workshops was to provide those aged 50+ with an understanding of the changes taking place in the 21st century; the relevance of work in providing solutions; and to enable participants to develop life plans to improve their situation where this is necessary.
Each workshop:
- provided participants with an understanding of the changes that are taking place in 21st century Britain that will impinge on those aged 50+: the demographic changes; retirement; work; pensions; finance; family; government policies
- provided an understanding of the implications of these changes
- provided a framework for successfully adapting to these changes
- motivated participants to consider the changes and impacts on their own personal situation and context; enable the development of new attitudes, behaviours, strategies and actions to improve their position.
There were 3 separate workshops available. Each workshop provided a different level of detail.
