PRE courses to be offered by adult education centres

As part of Life Academy’s commitment to the Learning Revolution and reaching people within the community we have partnered with Kent Adult Education and Morley College to provide a series of one day pre-retirement courses. The courses will take place within Adult Education Centres in Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Swanley, Maidstone and South London.

Life Academy tutors will deliver the courses which will cover the five principal areas of: the transition from paid work into retirement; finance; health and relationships.

Stuart Royston, CEO Life Academy said: “These initiatives came about as a direct result of the Learning Revolution White Paper. They provide the opportunity for individuals who do not work for ‘blue chip employers’ and cannot gain the benefit of pre-retirement education through the workplace. We hope that through these initiatives we will reach a new audience group who will benefit from a PRE course”.
