Life Academy joins forces with AXA to raise Financial Literacy levels

Life Academy today announces that they have signed an agreement with AXA to offer AXA Pension scheme members access to their financial education programme, Learn About Money.

AXA have recognised that there is a vital need for people to take more responsibility for their financial wellbeing. They believe that improving basic financial literacy levels and awareness of savings and pensions through employers will help in this area. There will be a dedicated AXA team who will use Learn About Money in the workplace with employers and their staff.

Stuart Royston, Chief Executive of Life Academy, stated “We are delighted to be working alongside AXA to promote financial education in the workplace. Our research findings have shown us that increased awareness of financial matters helps employees to understand and appreciate company benefits such as pension schemes. Our Learn About Money financial education programme is firmly based on that research and it provides an excellent financial education resource.”

Mark Rowlands, Corporate Benefits Marketing Development Director at AXA added, “We have identified Learn About Money as a powerful tool for our customers to promote pensions and financial planning with their employees. We are very excited to be in partnership with Life Academy.”

Learn About Money will be offered to scheme members in a range of different methods, including web-based education material with self assessment tools and face-to-face seminars at their place of work.
