Learn About Money has continued to be an excellent and versatile financial education programme. We have used it with pension providers, employers and individuals. In our Pension Education Fund projects we used it to raise financial awareness and linked it with retirement planning to provide a powerful combination.
The generic version is available via the Learn About Money website, CD Rom or workbook. Those who were using the programme requested additional modules on debt and defined contribution pension schemes. We responded to these requests by extending the workbook to include a module on Positive Debt Management and a module on Pensions which comprehensively covers defined contribution schemes.
We developed two bespoke financial education workbooks for lone parents of low to medium literacy levels where we worked with the charity One Parent Families and a workbook for adults with learning difficulties where we worked with Mencap.
