In 2006/07 there were many changes in the environment in which our clients operate. Change will continue but 2006/07 was a pivotal year with the "A" day changes, the Pensions White Paper and the Pensions Bill creating heavy workloads for those in the pension industry and their colleagues in HR departments who had to respond to the age discrimination legislation that took effect in October 2006. This provided a challenging environment and we benefited from the broader range of activities in which we were engaged. It was not surprising that those with whom we work were not able to take initiatives and our task in 2006/07 was to raise our profile and reputation, maximise the benefits of the rebranding, and ensure a platform was in place for ongoing financial sustainability.
